 Recently, the National Finals of the 11th National College Student Life Sciences Competition (Scientific Research Category) came to a successful conclusion. This year’s competition attracted 26,000-plus teams from 787 institutions of higher education across the country.

The team from our School won the National First Prize with their project: Construction of a Biomimetic Dextran-Mediated Targeted Delivery System for Ginsenoside Rh2 and Investigation of Its Multidimensional Anti-Hepatocarcinoma Mechanism.

 The National College Student Life Sciences Competition is one of the 57 national academic competitions for college students officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, and stands as the highest-level and most influential national competition in the field of life sciences in China. In this edition, students from our School were awarded one First Prize, one Second Prize, and two Third Prizes—a remarkable achievement.

The School of Public Health has always attached great importance to fostering students’ innovative capabilities, providing comprehensive support for student development through mechanisms including scientific research training, faculty mentorship, and open laboratory access. Building on this achievement, the School will continue to deepen its teaching reforms and advance the cultivation of high-caliber talent.
