Research Focus

The team focuses on reproductive health and women’s healthcare, integrating basic science, public health, and clinical research. Its work spans three major areas:

—  Reproductive Physiology and Pathology

Investigation of reproductive endocrine regulation, gametogenesis, and embryonic development, with a focus on ovarian aging and intervention strategies. The team aims to elucidate the mechanisms underlying infertility and related disorders.

—  Environmental Toxicology and Reproductive Health

Systematic evaluation of the effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals and emerging environmental pollutants on reproductive health, including toxicological mechanisms and the development of targeted intervention strategies.

—  Women’s Healthcare and Health Management

Development of comprehensive health management models covering the life course—from adolescence and reproductive age to pregnancy, postpartum, and older adulthood. The team promotes evidence-based strategies for disease prevention, screening, and health promotion, and supports their translation into practice.

Research Platform and Collaboration

The research group is supported by several high-level research platforms, including:

—   Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Disease Prevention and Public Health

The team maintains close collaborations with leading academic and clinical institutions, including the University of British Columbia (Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Cornell University (Department of Biomedical Sciences), the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals of Nanchang University, and the Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Through interdisciplinary and multi-level collaboration, the team conducts both fundamental research and translational clinical studies.
