 Prof. Xiaojun Zhou is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Public Health, Nanchang University. He holds leadership roles in several national and provincial academic organizations, including Executive Council Member of the Chinese Health Economics Association, Standing Committee Member of the Biostatistics Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Vice President of the Jiangxi Association for STD & AIDS Prevention and Control, Vice Chair of the Jiangxi Antituberculosis Association, Deputy Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Health Standards Committee, and Standing Committee Member of the Jiangxi Preventive Medicine Association.

He received his Bachelor of Medicine in Preventive Medicine from Nanchang University (1987-1992) and later earned a Master’s degree in Social Medicine and Health Management from Wuhan University (2008-2010). He has served at the School of Public Health, Nanchang University since 1992, progressing through the ranks from Teaching Assistant to Professor.

Research Focus

The team specializes in medical and health big data analytics and health policy research, with an emphasis on:

—   Application of large-scale health data in health services research

—   Health economics and policy evaluation

—   Disease prevention and control strategy analysis

—   Biostatistical methods for population health and health system performance
